Delete Your Data
Last updated: April 20, 2026
rutera is developed by Tech Drops TX, operated by Yilmaz Family LLC. This page explains how to delete local driving records stored by the rutera app.
How rutera Stores Data
rutera stores your driving records locally on your device. Your rutera mileage, offer, expense, and profit records are not stored on rutera servers. There is no rutera account, no rutera cloud sync, and no rutera remote database for your mileage or expense records.
What Data Is Stored on Your Device
- GPS trip records — start/end locations, distances, and durations
- Mileage logs — date, distance, and addresses for each trip
- Expense entries — fuel, insurance, maintenance, and other costs you enter
- Offer analysis settings — your minimum $/mile and $/hour thresholds
- Vehicle and odometer records — vehicle name and odometer readings
- App preferences — language, theme, and display settings
How to Delete Your Data
Since your rutera driving records are stored locally on your device, you have control over local App data. Choose either option:
Option 1: Clear app data (keep the app installed)
- Open your device Settings
- Go to Apps → rutera → Storage
- Tap "Clear Data"
- All trip records, expenses, settings, and preferences will be permanently deleted
Option 2: Uninstall the app
- Uninstall rutera from your device
- All data is permanently and automatically deleted when the app is removed
What Happens After Deletion
Once you clear app data or uninstall rutera, local rutera records are removed from your device. rutera does not keep a rutera cloud backup of your mileage, offer, expense, or profit records. There is no way for rutera to recover local data after you delete it.
